The Guilford Yacht Club, nestled among vast, virgin salt marshes on the bank of the West River in Guilford Connecticut, is Long Island Sound’s premiere yachting facility. To appreciate it fully you must experience it all – spacious floating docks, luxurious swimming pool, showers, Har-Tru tennis courts, seasonal on site restaurant and a superb club house complete with an exquisite banquet facility for catered events. As far as the eye can see, one is surrounded by undisturbed natural beauty, including spectacular views of Long Island Sound and Faulkner’s Island. The Guilford Yacht Club is easily accessible from Long Island Sound and is a short distance from the town of Guilford, CT.
Founded in 1954, the Guilford Yacht Cub is a member-owned entity.We deliver exceptional sailing and social experiences for members, their families, and guests, while building upon the club’s heritage, traditions, and reputation for camaraderie, sportsmanship and world‐renowned sailing. Membership is affordable and right now a limited number of Clubhouse memberships are still available.
Looking to host your private event in a facility that takes advantage of breathtaking views and beautiful vistas while giving you privacy for your guests? The Guilford Yacht Club is a stunning venue to host your event. With a large stone patio and gracious lawn overlooking the water and large reception area with hardwood floors, GYC can host events for up to 180 people. You do not need to be a GYC Member to rent space in our beautiful facility.
