Welcome to the Guilford Yacht Club; nestled among vast, virgin salt marshes on the bank of the West River, Long Island Sound’s premiere yachting facility.  To appreciate it fully you must experience it all, spacious floating docks, luxurious swimming pool, showers, Har-Tru tennis courts and new club house complete with an exquisite banquet facility for catered events.  The Guilford Yacht Club is a full service facility providing yachting, swimming, tennis and various social activities in a true resort environment.  As far as the eye can see, one is surrounded by undisturbed natural beauty, including spectacular views of Long Island Sound and Faulkner's Island. The Guilford Yacht Club is easily accessible from Long Island Sound and is a short distance from the town of Guilford, CT.   Founded in 1954, the Guilford Yacht Club is a member-owned entity.

The GYC signature bar will be open every Friday night from July 3rd through August 28th, with the exception of Friday July 10th, from 6:00pm until 11:00pm. Please stop by, meet your friends, have a drink or two and maybe catch the ball game on our wide screen T.V. Guests and Transients must be accompanied by a member.

LADIES SAILING NIGHTS 2009
Please join us at 5:30 on the following Thursday nights for some fun sailing (we’ll be using the club’s 420s and a few bigger boats as well).  BYOB refreshments are encouraged.  Bring a lifejacket, but no experience is necessary

The Unit Owner’s Association Board of Directors meeting for July has been cancelled.  The next meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday August 3, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the upstairs board room in the club house.  All unit owners are invited to attend.

The U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 24-04 Guilford will offer About Boating Safety an 8 hour basic boating course which fulfills the classroom requirement for a CT Safe Boating Certificate. and Personal Watercraft Certificate.
